Last year we announced the purchase of the state of the art Zeiss Operating Microscope at Dentique. It has now been operating for the past six months and while many joked that it was Dennis’s new ‘toy’, it is certainly more than that! Dennis has spent many extra hours training in the art of microscopic dentistry and the microscope has many benefits for our patients.
In addition to the magnification and clarity, the microscope has built-in Xenon light which enables superb illumination of the mouth to show precise details.

Apart from higher quality treatment, the microscope is able to show our patients any dental problems on our large plasma screen at high magnification! Undoubtedly, it also allows Dennis to precisely and accurately diagnose all dental problems.
‘Live Video’ of dental procedures can be shown on the plasma screen for patients who choose to watch! Alternatively, a high resolution photo of ‘before’ and ‘after’ can be shown upon request at the end of your appointment.
